Gabriel Project Babies: The Gabriel Project is a Pro-Life movement offering parish-based pastoral care to women in a crisis pregnancy. It is the goal of the Gabriel Project to help such women with all their practical needs, as well as offering them unconditional love in an apostolate of friendship throughout their pregnancy. For more information about the Gabriel Project, please call 867-5511.

Being open to life brings blessings beyond anything we can imagine. Did you know that St. Catherine of Siena, Doctor of the Church, was the youngest of 25 children?  What if her parents had said, “24 is enough?”  God bless our mothers who have chosen life for their babies.

Between April and July we have set up 24 mothers which includes 2 sets of twins. There are 6 more mothers to set up by September.

If you can help the Gabriel Project save some of these babies, please put your monetary donations in the Sunday collection, or mail them to Betty Gummo, c/o Our Lady of Victory Church, 820 Westerly Parkway, State College, PA 16801. A check made out to “The Gabriel Project/OLV” (a 501c3 non-profit) can be used as a tax deduction.

Donations of diapers, onesies, etc., can be placed in the wooden bin in the back of the church, marked The Gabriel Project. Due to liability, we cannot accept used toys, strollers, cribs or car seats. Thank you very much for your support of these mothers and their babies, especially with prayer.
