FROM THE PASTOR…..MY DEAR PARISH FAMILY,  his week we enter into the holiest week of the year. The church throughout the world will commemorate God’s redeeming act of the Passion and Resurrection of Christ. The ceremonies that we will celebrate will express our gratitude to the Lord for His mercy in becoming man to suffer and die for us. Through our liturgical celebrations, we relive the occurrences at the end of Jesus' life in which we celebrate the Paschal Mystery where   Jesus reconciles the world to His Father. Please take note of the following times for these  celebrations at OLV.

HUMOR FOR THE WEEK - Once again, kids are smarter than they used to be. But they do say the darndest things!

TEACHER: How old were you on your last birthday? STUDENT: Seven.

TEACHER: How old will you be on your next birthday? STUDENT: Nine.

TEACHER: That's impossible. STUDENT: No, it isn't, Teacher. I'm eight today.

-----------------------------------------------------------

TEACHER: George, go to the map and find North America. GEORGE: Here it is!

TEACHER: Correct. Now, class, who discovered America? CLASS: George!

-----------------------------------------------------------

TEACHER: Willy, name one important thing we have today that we didn't have ten years ago.

WILLY: Me!
