Thanksgiving: This Thursday, Nov. 22nd is our national day of Thanksgiving to God for all the blessings bestowed on our country.  As is our custom, there will be one Mass offered that day at 9:00am.

Adoration will begin after that Mass and continue until 11:00pm. There will be no confessions on Thanksgiving evening so that the priests may visit their families out of town.

We ask that those coming to Mass on Thanksgiving Day please bring a can of food for the State College Food Bank.

Hurricane Relief: Our parish will soon send a check to Catholic Charities U.S.A. to help those suffering from the recent hurricane along the Atlantic Coast. If you would like to add to the amount, make out your check to OLV Church, mark it “Hurricane Relief” and drop it in the collection.

Parish Bazaar Results: Thanks to the work of so many, our parish Bazaar netted close to $26,000 for our parish, our parish school and our parish preschool. A few bills have not been submitted yet. A final, final report will follow in a few weeks. This is a great success, and we can all be proud of it.

Annual Bereavement Mass: The annual Mass for those who were buried from our parish in the past year will be offered on Wednesday, Nov. 28th at 7:00pm. A social time will follow the Mass in the Gardiner Social Hall. All who had a death in their family during the past year are invited to participate in the Mass.
