Sign-up for Catholicism! This weekend and next we invite you to come to the Gathering Space to “sign up” for one of the “Catholicism” discussion groups. There is at least one group that meets each day of the week, either in a home or in the Activities Center. When you sign up, you will receive the Participant’s Study Guide. We ask a $20 donation at this time to help pay for the material.

Secretarial Position Opening: Our parish secretary for the last 16+ years, Joyce Hughey, will   retire this October. Congratulations, Joyce! Your smiling face in the office will be greatly missed. But if anyone deserves some rest, it is you, after all you’ve done for OLV.

Now comes the difficult part - finding a new secretary. We are accepting applications starting now. This is a full-time, paid position with benefits. Hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Applicant must be able to keep confidences! Patience, a pleasant personality and the ability to multi-task are also essential, as well as facility in using a PC for emails, word processing, etc.

Interested parties should submit a typed resume with references to the office to the attention of Msgr. David Lockard. If you have questions, contact Joyce or Monsignor by phone or email.
