OLV Annual Fall Bazaar - SATURDAY, November 4, 2017 9:00am to 4:00pm

Our Lady of Victory will hold its annual Bazaar on Saturday, November 4, from 9:00am to 4:00pm in the OLV School Gym, 800 Westerly Parkway, State College.  Admission is free.

Menu includes homemade soup, cabbage rolls, Rosies Pierogies and Huluski, hot sausage with onions and peppers, sloppy joes, hotdogs, tossed salad and Gemeilli cakes. Eat in or take out.

Enjoy live entertainment while shopping for crafts and toys, selecting theme baskets for your raffle tickets, or bidding on silent auction items.There will also be games for children for all ages.

A big-screen TV will show the Penn State - Michigan State football game.


We need your help:

OLV Bazaar - Volunteers Needed the day of the Bazaar- Saturday, November 4, 9:00am to 4:00pm in the School Gym. Contact Chris at chrisk@ourladyofvictory.com or 814-237-7832 to volunteer or if you have any questions. Volunteers are also needed for setup starting 9:00am to 4:00pm on Friday, November 3. Below are areas that can use your help.
 
Bazaar Kitchen - Preparing and serving food, from 8am to 4pm. To donate food or ingredients, contact Deacon Dave at 237-7832.
 
Donations  of  Soda, Bottle Water: Please consider donating 12 packs of Coke, Pepsi, coffee or bottled water products to the Bazaar.  Drop off to the school office by Wednesday, November 1.
 
Theme Baskets - Anyone who wishes to contribute a theme basket or an item to use in a theme basket (such as a gift card) for the bazaar, please call Mary (238-6679), Pat (238-5804 or Margaret (238-4198).  Baskets to fill will be under the steps at church.  If you have extra baskets, please put them under the steps for someone to use.  Filled baskets should have a value of at least $50.  Baskets can be dropped off  Saturday, Oct 15 and Sunday, Oct 16, after any of the Masses at the Activities Center  Library and at the Church office starting the week of October 17. The Baskets will be on display during the Bazaar.
 
Baked Goods - Bakery chefs needed. To help, please call Betsy Clark at 238-2832.
 
Silent Auction - Items donated to silent auction should be new, collectable or memorabilia and gift certificates should be of at least $50 in value. Please contact Margaret Roof at 861-2128 or mroof@aol.com.
 
Money Raffle Tickets: Please pick up your raffle tickets in the Gathering Space after Mass starting the weekend of Oct. 14/15 and Oct. 21/22 in order to save the cost of $.68 each to mail them out. 


Attention Crafters!  We will be having a Crafts meeting on Sat., Oct. 28, 10:00am to 1:00pm.   We will be working on various projects for the Bazaar Crafts booth.  If you have favorite scissors, please bring them along, but if you don’t, we have them available.  No experience is necessary, please join us.  We always      welcome suggestions for items to craft for our booth!  If you have any questions, please contact Pat Lutz at 466-6328 or Joy Stauffer at 234-4804.
